Bob Beckman was born in 1934 in New York City. After gaining his economics degree from Hunter College, followed by post-graduate studies at Columbia University, Harvard Business School and the New School for Social Research, Bob Beckman joined a Wall Street stockbrokerage firm as an Account Executive to launch his career which has since become varied while remaining in the securities industry.

An effusive New Yorker, Bob Beckman is an experienced economist who settled in London in 1963 and has - since 1987 - taken up residence in Monaco. From 1968 until 1996, he was the proprietor and editor of Investors Bulletin and associate publications, IB Warrant Survey, the International Warrants & Options Survey and the monthly feature "Life's Gold". Until 1986, Bob Beckman chaired his own radio program (The Beckman Report) on LBC Radio. He has been a frequent guest on all of the major television and radio networks as well as a contributor to most major financial publications, including "The Financial Times", "The Economist", "The Times", and many others. He has been featured in many TV programs while also being the presenter of his own program on TV-am's "Breakfast Show".

Bob Beckman's reputation places him among the top most successful, but least conventional, forecasters in the world. He has well-proven track record, forecasting amongst other things, the rise and fall of gold, the explosive rise in the US dollar and the boom and subsequent decline of the oil sector. He was one of the few forecasters who correctly forecast the 'Crash of 87'. He accurately predicted the start of the last British recession and was alone in foretelling a fall in house prices - a subject he explored extensively in his book's "The Downwave - Surviving the Second Great Depression" and "Housequake". His other books include, "Share Price Analysis", "The Elliot Wave Principle - As Applied to the London Stock Market", "Supertiming", "Into The Upwave", "Crashes", and "Powertiming".

Bob Beckman has a proven track record of personal investment success. In 1982, he launched the Beckman International Capital Accumulator Unit Trust, a fully authorized Unit Trust which has remained in the top 5 in its sector (Intl Fixed-income) since inception. This was followed by the launch of the Beckman Reserve Asset Fund (a money-market fund), the Beckman Options and Warrant Fund (a derivatives fund) and the Beckman Biotech Fund, a fully authorized Unit Trust specializing in the field of Biotechnology and Life Extension.

Bob Beckman is also the Principal of RC Beckman & Partners, a Monaco-based entity responsible for the management of pension funds and private client investment programs.
